I've been testing the 2.0 mm ALU chassis outdoors with some really impressive results. I normally run the carbon chassis outdoors, but I wanted to try something different, so I bolted on the ALU chassis.

First impressions: The car felt very loose and was difficult to drive. I made a few setup changes, including adjusting the roll center, fitting wider front hexes, reducing front camber, and making a few other small tweaks.

After those changes, the car really came alive and became a lot of fun to drive. I also increased the differential oil from 3K to 6K, which gave the car much better drive and helped me gain time on track.

By the end of the day, I managed a best lap of 12.2 seconds with the ALU chassis, compared to 13.0 seconds with the carbon chassis.
I'm really impressed with how well the ALU chassis works outdoors and I'm looking forward to doing more testing.
