There is more manufacturers of sensorless brushless systems. Why? Because
those systems were used primarily on RC planes and boats. Now,
manufacturers propose their products for RC cars because ESC are well
adapted to RC cars needs. In this area, Feigao, Hacker, Kontronik, Lehner,
LRK, Mega AC, Model Motors, MP JET, PJS, MGM, M'Troniks, Plettenberg,
Schulze, Überall Model provide ESC or motors and some both (Hacker)

Hacker
C 40 Series |
The C40 series motors have
been specially developed for High RPM, High Temperature
applications.
R/C Racing Cars and Smaller Helicopters that use 6-10 NiMh cells or
2-3 LiPoly are excellent candidates for the Hacker C40 Brushless
System. These motors are Super Efficient , but produce Huge
amounts of Power (300% more than a Brushed Modified!!!). Available
in both "T" (Short) and "L" (Long) versions. The
C40T Motor bolts directly into any "540" Mounting location
and feature a 1/8" Shaft.
The C40L is a Longer Motor that also
uses the "540" mounting pattern and a 1/8" shaft.
