Tried my own version of Jason's YZ-4 slipper modification tonight on EOS carpet, and I must say it's a fantastic improvement to the car. Before anyone asks, I'm not selling these. Please contact Jason, and I believe Lee will be selling them also in his LMR shop.

I originally tried it with the triple plate slipper (in this setup it effects rear slip, but not the front), but found settings gave too much front slip and hardly any rear. Loosening it off gave more front slip and didn't really affect the rear slip enough for me, so still could get belt jumps on power.

So I then tried an AE 91170 High Torque slipper pad on the front side of the slipper, and a regular yokomo pad on the rear side of the slipper with the vented plate. I found this combination to give the best feeling, with right amount of slip front and rear. I will try it with both pads high torque when I get chance. Seriously though you will want this modification for your YZ-4. Able to land on full power, no nasty belt slip or feeling like you'll make belt slipping noise. It'll certainly reduce load on the idlers too. Really well done Jason, great piece of work. I'm certainly keeping mine!
