Here is the setup which i think will be a good starting point for dirt setup. this is stable and has good grip and easy to drive. the setup i ended with is very track specific with the shock combo i ran i very highly doubt will work on anything but that track...will be a good shock setup for carpet though

What battery placements did you test Chris?
- I have testes all positions except saddles across the chassis
Which was best? setup sheet doesn't detail. how was inline, rather than across?
- I felt inline felt best but wasnt much different. Saddles inline feels the safest option
I was having the rear collapse, even with 1.6 rear bar and yatabe green springs. This was with shorty across chassis, in second from rear most position. Not tried inline as yet.
- Try inline. Should help that. I went up to yatabe purple springs on indoor clay as the buggy just had too much grip and the stiffer i went the faster it got so i just went all the way to purple. I found at the worlds with shocks on the front the buggy traction rolled easier.
Lee seems to be running shock rear. At the weekend, i tried shocks forward in my final and it no longer collapsed, but i did have less grip on the slippy gym floor. I'll try shocks rear again and inline pack.
Chris, have you tested with shocks forward? made this change today on the slippy indoor gym floor, and it transformed the car.
- Yes i have. The buggy just didnt feel right with shocks forward
