The Inaugural Desert Classic at the fantastic Hobby Action RC Raceway is in the books. Big kudos to the entire Hobby Action staff and race crew for putting on an incredible event (just 10 days since their opening) and showcasing their new world-class track and facility. Coming off a strong start to the season at the Reedy Race, Ryan Maifield put in great drives to TQ the 4wd Mod class and finish runner-up in both 2wd and 4wd classes. Despite narrowly missing out on the win in 4wd, solid progress was made on the development of the upcoming YZ2DTM and 4wd platforms with the help of teammate Carson Wernimont and off-road development lead Shin Adachi.
