2WD off-road car that is fun to drive lightly has evolved further! A racing buggy was born that further enhances the rear traction and increases the sense of stability, making it fun to attack the corners.
The 13mm big bore shock, which has more than 10% more capacity than before, is the key to driving. It achieves both high stability and response, and draws a smooth turn arc. Front and rear wings with increased downforce and a low-profile body control aerodynamics, contributing to stability at high speeds and posture control during jumps. The new steering block makes it easy to match the regulations, making it a super off-roader for enjoying racing.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Rear 2WD off-road car
  • Aluminum main chassis
  • Aluminum adjustable front axle
  • Reversible steering block
  • 13mm big bore shock
  • Wide front wing
  • Straight wing
  • Low profile body
  • Aluminum chassis weight
  • The front steering block is reversible, and it is possible to change the tread width by swapping left and right. Even when using wide tires, by installing the steering block on the narrow side, it is easier to clear race regulations.

The aluminum axle is integrated with the hexagonal hub for a lightweight, high-precision finish. The offset can be fine-tuned by replacing the included spacer.

The front wing has been enlarged, and the nose down on jumps and the steering effect during cornering have been improved.

An aluminum weight plate is installed near the front of the chassis, below the steering servo. Along with adjusting the weight, it is possible to change the rigidity of the front.

The steel chassis weight is a mechanical tray for mounting the ESC and receiver, and can be easily removed during maintenance. Weight is about 26g.

The battery holder can be moved back and forth. You can change the front and rear weight distribution depending on the position of the battery.

LC type gearbox is standard equipment. Of course, it is also equipped with a slipper clutch and an aluminum motor mount.

Adopted a big bore shock with a diameter widened to 13mm. The capacity has been increased by more than 10% compared to the conventional model, and the feeling of stability in jumps and steering stability on road surfaces with gaps have been improved.

Reliable rear suspension. With a setting that increases traction more than before, it realizes slight understeer on dirt roads.

Standard equipment is a straight off-road wing with improved downforce.

The body is also a new shape, and the exercise performance is high.

The SO2.0 Dirt Edition is the ultimate 2WD off-road buggy, meticulously engineered for superior performance on dirt tracks. While it shares the same fundamental components as the standard SO2.0, this edition has been optimized for dirt surfaces with several key modifications.

    Key Features:
    • Rear Suspension: The rear suspension arms have been shortened and equipped with dirt-specific springs, allowing the vehicle to better adapt to uneven and loose dirt surfaces.
    • Enhanced Rear Traction: The buggy features a hard graphite-molded gearbox coupled with a ball differential. This setup is specifically designed to increase rear traction, ensuring stability and control even in challenging dirt conditions.
    • Optimized Weight Distribution: The hard graphite gearbox not only boosts rear traction but also contributes to the overall balance of the vehicle. By adjusting the chassis weight distribution, the Dirt Edition achieves a perfect blend of cornering precision and acceleration performance.

These enhancements make the SO2.0 Dirt Edition an exceptional choice for off-road enthusiasts seeking peak performance on dirt tracks.

Changes from the SO2.0 to the Dirt Edition:
    • Ball Differential: Now included as standard equipment for improved traction and control.
    • Graphite Molded Gear Case: The rear gear case is now made of hard graphite, enhancing durability and performance.
    • Rear Suspension: Features shorter suspension arms, designed for better handling on dirt surfaces.
    • Newly Developed Springs: The Dirt Edition comes with specially designed springs tailored for dirt track conditions.
    • J-Concept F2 Body: The vehicle sports the J-Concept F2 body, offering aerodynamic advantages and a sleek design.
Astro High Clearance Wing (7-inch): Equipped with a 7-inch Astro high clearance wing, providing improved downforce and stability.

These updates make the SO2.0 Dirt Edition uniquely suited for dirt track racing, with enhancements focused on traction, handling, and aerodynamics.
