Takeshi's notes:
This is the setting sheet for the Yokomo Off-Road Challenge Cup. I'll go with this as a base.

  • I changed the shock oil to something a little softer because the machine would not move if the oil was too hard and I couldn't control it.
  • I changed the front shaft length from 24mm to 23mm and it got better. It's now easier to move in the direction I want. A 3mm inner spacer might be good too. For now, the shock end is standard.
  • The front shock spring is either pink or green from X-GEAR.
  • The rear shock spring is green, blue, or yellow from X-GEAR. You can also run with red or gold, but sometimes it over-rolls when starting up. I haven't used pink recently.
  • I also changed the bulkhead spacer back to 2mm plastic. I haven't been able to try it since I shortened the front shaft length, so I'll check it again.
  • I put 10g behind the servo.
