Takeshi's notes:

  • To reduce changes in movement due to condition changes, I'm trying harder oils. Overall stability improves, especially making stairs much easier.
  • I tested various springs to match the harder oil, but very soft springs worked best. For the front, X-GEAR red, yellow, blue, and for the rear, gold, red, yellow range.
  • I've added a 1mm brass bulkhead spacer.
  • Front upper and shock end, and rear upper are still being tested.
  • The diff is metal 2-gear 3000. It might be better even lighter.
  • The standard lightweight kit body turns better than the F2 lightweight.
  • Testing the durability of POWER HD S15 servo. It's faster than LH2 but feels less torquey.
  • Using Schumacher tires. They turn less than JC but are slightly more durable. However, lap times seem to drop after about 300 laps.
  • Currently removed the front wing.
  • Compared slipper tightening and direct, I personally preferred direct. It's also about 15-20g lighter.
  • Less front rebound also felt good.
