Takeshi's notes:
This is the setup of the practice car as of the night of October 31st. The front wing is RSD Small. As it wasn't turning well, the rear stabilizer was changed to 1.4. Accordingly, the rear shock mount position on the tower side was moved inward. The shock oil and springs were changed. I tried to optimize it. The rotation direction of the rear tires was changed to [A] (top towards the front). (This is the direction that makes the rear lighter) For the springs, if we're talking about Associated, the front would be blue or yellow, and the rear would be around blue or yellow. (The 1-UP rear green spring is not yet released in Japan) For the rear wing, the back is 8mm down from the cut line. The side dams are also 3mm down. For the battery, we plan to use the new RSD 1S size 4600 for the actual race. (Planning to test it this weekend) It was quite good. We might have found 0.2 seconds. Finally able to choose lines. The rhythm is considerably faster. It might be the first time I felt it turn after softening the rear spring. Although we haven't done a full 5 minutes, I think we're in a state where we can aim for 20 laps under 5 seconds (15.25 average). For now, we plan to work a bit more on the springs, confirm the movement in different conditions, and decide on the final specifications for the actual race by the weekend.
