Car still weighs in at 1730 grams... not too bad considering I still have all of the steel lower screws, steel ball studs and steel upper shock mounts. Plus the Exotek wing mount, TLR aluminum pulleys and 6100mah battery all add weight. The cover modifications saved a total of 45 grams.

I think the next change will be a new motor, the Hobbywing 6.5 weighs in at 181 grams. Some of the newer motors like the Motiv, TSR, Tekin G3 and SMC LowRider and MuchMore are all closer to 150 grams. After that, titanium screws and upper shock mounts. It is a mod car so I'm not too concerned if I'm at the minimum weight.
