- Team Losi 22 - Matt Chambers - 21.09.2011 -
This setup is used for a tight indoor track with hi traction. Some things I change when going to a larger track include: 5000mah 90c Orion battery, 2.5- 5wt thicker oil front and rear, spindle height to 1.5mm below spindle and .5mm above with 1-2mm bump steer washers.
I am running Middle on the front arm. Corey is right about running that inside hole, should be noticeably more low speed steering. As for the battery tray, I run the aluminum one in the back of the chassis in the holes closest to the front. It gives you about 2 battery pads to move around with the shorty pack. Even moving that battery 1 Pad forward or back makes a very noticeable change to steering/rear traction.
I like running the 3 degrees antisquat because I think the car jumps and lands much better than with 2-2.5 degrees. I have been running the 3 degrees for a few months now and haven't come across a situation where I felt like I wanted less than 3 degrees.
