Darren Bloomfield is racing the Losi XXX4G+, the single belt 4WD buggy that appeared in around 2003. The buggy got a slight makeover last year at the IFMAR worlds - when the TLR team chose to use it for the 4WD event. The TLR guys main modification was to machine up some alloy shock towers and chassis/tower braces just for the team drivers. Darren didn't manage to make it to the worlds due to some politics so had to sit on the sidelines and got un-anodised towers as a result.
The car is running optional steering mods to change the ackermann setting. Darren has chosen to use universals on the rear driveshafts and CVD's up front.
Darren was using a KO propo stick transmitter but with Spektrum insides including the large LCD screen from the DX3R.
