Here is my setup for CRC black carpet. It is so comfortable to drive. You will notice with the wide spindle and the narrow caster block, it does limit the overall steering throw. Do not be worried about that. You don’t need the rest of the steering throw as this thing turns on a dime.

I glued the sidewalls all the way up to the first rib on the tire. This also allowed me to drive the car harder and still have more than enough steering.
