Elliott Boots is one of the latest editions to the Tekin Racing Team. Elliott known for his amazing car handling skills in the air, immense speed on the track, and consistently fast nature make him one of the most entertaining drivers to watch circle around a race track. Let’s take a look at one of Elliott’s’ newest Tekin powered cars, his Kyosho Zx6.
EB’s Zx6 at home on the turf.
Elliott has his bodies prepared by none other than Bitty Designs. Flashy red and white with some “CF” look signature tearing means you can pick out this car anywhere on the track, even as it flashes by a mach speeds on the straight away!
Tekin RSX & Redline Gen2 in 6.5T flavor.
Elliott’s cars are regularly setup with the help of his master pit mechanic and father Chris Boots. As you can see Chris utilizes the sensor cable retainer to help route the cable away from rotating parts in the car. Elliot chose the Redline 6.5T motor for power stating that it “has amazing speed for a 6.5T!”

Here we get an overhead shot of the wiring layout. Simple, clean and well thought out keeping all the wires away from moving parts with “teeth” like the spur gear. Elliott controls his cars with the latest Sanwa radio and servos. Juice comes from his LRP battery packs. Note that the wires are short but long enough to allow for chassis flex and maintenance on the car, etc.
Chris made sure to position the Tekin RSX esc where he could get access to the LED tree for checking temperature of the esc while at the track. This also allows easy access to the “EZ Access® HotWire Programming Port” should he need to jack in his Android Device or laptop.
We will have some more news about Elliott’s latest success with his Tekin electronics in the very near future…stay tuned.
