Kyosho & Tanner Day Win @ 6th Annual North-West Invitational!

The 6th Annual North-West Invitational was held August 21st - August 23rd at Dave's R/C Tracks in Hubbard, Oregon. This would be the 2nd straight year in a row that the Invitational has been held at Dave's. This is also the home trackofKyosho AmericaTeam Manager Joe Pillars. JP first started this annual event in 2010and every year has gained more momentum by attracting many top level drivers. This is also the home trackofKyosho America'syounggun Tanner Day, who has been making a name for himself over the past year. Justa few weeks ago,Tanner was able toadd 2 ROAR Stock National Championships to his racing resume!

Race Schedule:
Friday, August 21st: Open Practice
Saturday, August 22nd: 5 Rounds of Invitational Racing / 4 Rounds of Qualifying
Sunday, August 23rd: 3 Rounds of Invitational Racing / Triple A-Main Events

Kyosho America's Tanner Day went onto TQ 2 rounds of qualifying while setting the fastest times to and the overall TQ!

Tanner then went onto Win A-Main #1 & A-Main #3 to take the 4wd Modified Buggy Championship!

Kyosho America's Roger Seim put in a great drive during the A-Main Events to finish on the podium in 3rd!

Invitational 2wd Modified Buggy

The highly contested Invitational 2wd Modified Buggy class would have its largestentry countin the history of theevent with 28 drivers competing. 7 rounds of completely random heads-up racing would be ranin 4 heats of 7 drivers. Then the final round would resort the drivers based on there 5 bestfinishes to group the heatswith the fastest drivers all racing each other in the last race of the day.

After the dust had settled on Sunday, Team Associated's Ryan Cavalieri & Kyosho America's Tanner Day both finished with a perfect score of 6 wins. The tie-breaker would then go to each drivers 2 best combined laps and times where Cavalieri would just edge out Day for the overall win. Tanner Day would finish an impressive 2nd overall for the 2nd year in a row, showing great speed all weekend.Kyosho America'sTeam Manager Joe Pillars would finish only 2 points back from the tie for 1st to take 3rd overall also for the 2nd straight year.

Kyosho would have a very strong showingin the Invitationalclassby finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, &6th overall, having5 RB6'sinside the Top 10!
