So I ran in both 40+ and regular Nitro buggy to kind of run dual set-ups and get as much feedback as I could for the upcoming Worlds. The traction came up decently on main day and was the same on Monday morning when I got to do another hour of testing. This is what I ended up with but i'm still not quite satisfied. John (Phi's dad) is working on a set-up with the Red 70/81 springs for this medium/higher grip relatively smoother surface. I ran Black most of the week and went to brown front on the rear for the last qualifier and mains and then went to the 70/81 blue's for my Monday test and probably liked them best. Wish I had more time to dive into the red set-up too.
Newest things for me on the below set-up are the SP (angle hole) pistons front and rear and running them 'upside down' with the flat side down. This gives a little less pack and a slower rebound which was the main effect I was looking for. Shock oil is also pretty heavy as we had some harsher landings if you didn't downside perfect (raises hand) and the temps were in the low 90's.
