The 2026 EFRA 1/8 Off-Road European Championships in Madrid featured very unique track conditions, with extremely high grip, long mains, and a demanding layout where every setup adjustment could make a real difference. Temperatures exceeded 40°C (104°F), making it especially tough on both the cars and the engines!
For those who would like to take a closer look at the configuration I used throughout the event, I'm sharing my complete Kyosho MP11 setup sheet.
This setup sheet includes all the settings I used during the European Championships: suspension geometry, differential oils, shock absorbers, shock oils, springs, and all the information needed to understand the setup choices made for this highly technical Spanish track. These are the settings I ran on Saturday, finals day, when I had the best overall feeling with the car.
I used Matrix Blackhole tires throughout the entire week, switching between the Medium and Hard compounds depending on the track temperature.
This setup provides an excellent baseline if you race on a fast, high-grip track. As always, you'll need to fine-tune it according to your local grip level, tire choice, and driving style.
