The D413's standard long shocks are great at soaking up bumps and landing big jumps; however, we felt the car pitched too much and could be sharpened up.

As such, our first mod are new shock towers for use with Associated big bore shocks (74mm front, 89mm rear) and slightly reduced droop. So far on outdoor clay the results have been brilliant, increasing sharpness and increasing steering. We have not yet tested on astroturf and carpet, but we're expect noticable improvement over the standard shocks & towers.

Secondly, to improve protection from dirt and moisture, we've made 3D printed sidepods. At the same time we've added a battery brace with slots to make quick adjustments to battery position with a screw and nut instead of moving the battery posts forwards or backwards.

At this point we're testing the parts. We will consider production if there is enough demand for these mods, so please let us know if you're interested!

I've made some mods for the D413 (under the name of ORB Racing):
- New shock geometry (shorter shocks, different towers, slightly less droop) - It makes the car sharper on clay and better high-bite performance (astro, carpet) is expected.
- 3D-printed sidepods - It keeps the dirt & moisture out a lot better this way.
