Out of the box the truck is faster and easier to drive than the T6.4 series on these tracks. A few changes we have made:
- 3 hole pistons ride the bumps better and feel more stable on direction change
- we've raised the rear roll centre for more rotation and drive off the corner
- stiffer rear spring jumps a little better
- rear roll bar was good on Astro but we took off for clay
A few tips:
- T6.4 bodies will fit directly into the body mounts. You will need to trim approx 6mm off the bottom of the body and a little around the front camber link.
- we used longer turnbuckles (67mm rear on the front, and some 75mm for the rear) as we had some ballcups bend with these link lengths
- we use the B84 HD servo ballcups on the servo link for some extra strength
