I’ve had a lot of people reach out regarding the success of my last setup post, so I wanted to drop a quick update with my most recent changes.
Nothing too major, but a few key tweaks have made the car killer!

Setup Changes & Nerdy Details:

  1. Front End – Steering Geometry Tweaks
A lot of people have tried the 16KPI and they seem to be liking it but have been struggling with the steering feel it seems. Same here. I spent a full day dialing it in and found that fixing the bump steer made a huge difference. I went +2 on the outer steering arm and +1 in the center rack. That cleaned up the entry/mid corner feel less pushy The steering changes were much more predictable To wake the front end up a bit, I switched from a 2.2 to a 2.1 sway bar. This gave more initial bite, but I lost stability on exit. So, I went back to the +1 kit steering arm and adjusted toe accordingly. That brought back predictability while keeping the front responsive. I also added 1° of front toe out to help on lower grip tracks. On high bite, I’d probably run a touch less, but I like staying in the "low grip" setup zone. The front is feeling absolutely dialed now. I haven’t touched it since.
  2. Rear End – More Flex
I wanted the rear to rotate more and be a bit more forgiving through bumps. The HB Yellow spring was solid but felt too planted/stiff mid corner. I started by removing the rear pivot insert for more flex. Still wanted more, so I pulled the second rear chassis brace nut. Got Better. Finally, I drilled out the rear chassis brace to allow freer movement. this made the rear feel alive again, especially in tricky, bumpy sections.
  3. Next issue was snap-rolling on sharp bumps. I softened the rear spring from Yellow to Blue, which helped it now floats over bumps, but I lost some pack on landings. Fixed that by adding droop—from 122.5mm to 124.5mm. Instantly better.
Outside of tiny changes (like a 1k diff oil tweak), the car has been super consistent across all the tracks I’ve been running lately. I’ve had zero reasons to touch the setup further.
