- Team Associated B74 Set-by-Step Build -
We (Ruddog Distribution) are building our Team Associated B74 display model for next weekend's EOS at the Arena 33. Here is a detailed step-by-step build of the latest 4wd weapon from Team Associated. Please note that this is a preproduction car and so still at prototype stage. There might be changes to the final production kit due to onging R&D.
The first step of the build is to attach the plastic side guards to the chassis as well as mounting the carbon fiber chassis stiffeners.![](1.jpg)

That's inside bag 2: front and rear arms aswell as aluminium suspension mounts and inserts.![](3.jpg)
After bag 2 the arms are fully attached to the chassis. The tolerances on the arms are absolutely perfect. No binding and free movement right out of the box.![](4.jpg)
A closer look at the front suspension![](5.jpg)
The rear suspension.![](6.jpg)
Bag 3 includes the front and rear differential. The front and rear ring gear is now fully machined for lowest resistance. Also the cross pins are now made from aluminium as standard.![](7.jpg)
The Ready-built differentials. Fully assembled differentials.![](8.jpg)
Bag 4 includes the gear cases and the center drivetrain.![](9.jpg)
Partially assembled center driveshafts. The pinion gear has now deep holes for a secure mount of the set screw. Also the driveshaft pins are secured by a aluminium cap.![](10.jpg)
The front and rear gearbox fully assembled. Important for the height adjustability of the differential outdrive to adapt your car to different ride heights and track conditions.![](11.jpg)
Bag 5 includes the aluminium front and rear bulkheads aswell as 4mm carbon fiber shouch towers.![](12.jpg)
The car after step 5 of the build.![](13.jpg)
Bag 6 includes the anti-roll bars.![](14.jpg)
Which are now also laser edged. Inside the kit you get a 1.2mm and 1.3mm anti-roll bar for dirt and a 1.6mm and 1.7mm for astroturf and carpet. Also available with the part number AE92161 is a full set from 1.0mm to 2.0mm. Also the anti-roll bars are now identical front and rear.![](15.jpg)
Bag 7 includes the complete steering![](16.jpg)
Which includes a aluminium steering plate as standard. Also the aluminium steering posts got thicker in size for better durability.![](17.jpg)
Bag 8....front hubs and driveshafts![](18.jpg)
![](19.jpg)
Bag 9: Rear Hubs and driveshafts![](20.jpg)
The rear hubs have now a better adjustability. There are also different lengths of driveshafts available to adjust your B74 even better to the track conditions.![](21.jpg)
![](22.jpg)
Bag 10 includes the turnbuckles.![](23.jpg)
