RC10B74.2 FT Ring and Pinion Gear Set, molded

These gears reduce the rotational and overall weight of the RC10B74.2. Each set equates to a weight savings of 13.5g.

Made from high strength plastic with added durability through the use of a G10 strengthening ring and an aluminum pinion shaft, these gears have withstood a substantial amount of abuse in testing.

This set is intended for use with a center differential and a 13.5T motor. However, these have proven to hold up to modified power at the highest level of competition for those looking to save weight.

Applying #6636 Silicone Grease to the gears is recommended.

Tip for Aydin Horne:
I have a little pro tip for everyone using our Factory Team ring and pinion gears on the B74.2. Over time, the pressure from the screws holding the diff together can cause the plastic ring gear to warp slightly. This causes the ring gear to rub on the side of the gearbox and grind during the rotation of the diff. To get everything freed back up, I recommend using a sanding cone bit on a dremel to free up space and have your drivetrain spinning free. Do this to the front and rear gearboxes and you should be picking up some serious fuel mileage.
