Some things to note:
- The track was super high bite as it received a fresh coat of oil 2 weeks prior to the event making it super sticky, but at the same time the track is quite bumpy in sections, and temps were in the mid 30's.
- We ran JConcepts Inc sidewall stiffeners in the 4wd front's only and that helped take away some front traction as the side wall was more supported and made it not so edgy, in hindsight would of liked to try them in the 2wd fronts as well but did not have available, alternatively, gluing the side walls is a good substitute which we did to the 2wd fronts and works well too.
- We ran JConcepts Inc Silver Ellipse which is the go to tire on this surface, breaking them in for a run or 2 over practice day, saucing with TDK initially then not using it for following runs as it was not necessary.
- For the extremely high grip, we ran heavier diff oils and sway bars then previous on this type of surface, but as noted on this sheet once the grip of the track naturally comes down over time you can drop those diff oils and sway bars down.
