Another BRCA 1:10th Off Road Nationals complete at sunny SRCC - Southport Radio Control Car Club

I set my Willspeed Fast Fox up based on my experience from last year but found that the grip level was totally different and it meant a whole load of changes from practice to qualifying

I didn’t quite get the set up right for the first couple of rounds of quali and it meant I was 115th overall going in to round 3

Thankfully a few more tweaks meant the car felt much better in round 3, and by not overdriving, I got a 36th and then 30th in round, ending qualis in 44th place overall
This meant I lined up 4th in the E, which is waaay better than where I thought I was going to end up

The final started well and after some mistakes from the front runners, I got into the lead on the first lap and then managed to pull out a small gap. Unfortunately, the back section of the track bit back and a small mistake meant I crashed, leaving me with a 5th place finish but still some good points for the overall championship.

Shout out to Willspeed drivers Roger RT99 Racing (the victim of some unsportsmanlike driving), he was 7th in the F and Kyle Moon 9th in the C.
