Here is the U-brace with the new holes and countersunk mounting holes. The holes are centered between the originals, there is an injection sprue on the underside of the u-brace that I was aiming for.

Here is the installed tower on a shaved u-brace. You can also see the spacers (3mm) needed for proper wing mount fit.

Here you can see the nicely perpindecular shock and spacing (3mm Kyosho spacers W0143).

Finally you can get a better look at the turnbuckle clearance.
