I've been asked a few times about how I keep records of setups. Setup sheets are great as a starting point and to document final setup but are not easy to keep track of changes through the day.

The method I've found to work for me is to use a table - I fill in the setup at the start of the day and then just note down what I changed each run as well as time of day, weather, track condition, how i drove etc. Note which things were good and which things were bad (i just use a plus and minus). I keep these in a folder and take this to the track with me. These really help when you are going back to a track you haven't been to for a while.
