- Academy GV2 - Glen Bean - 20.01.2008 -

My track was a little choppy with some small rutts and divits everywhere this evening. Medium bite and a little tacky. Normally its decently smooth, dry and hard packed with medium to semi high bite.

Front:

2 hole pistons drilled to #54,
35wt oil.
Flipped bladders.

2-B mounting
Long shock bottom unscrewed 3 turns
Academy white spring
Arms Level.
2-B camber link

No washers on inside
-1 camber
27.5 kickup. (30* would give a touch more corner entrance steering)
Wide MLP
Slight toe out

Rear:

2 hole pistons drilled to #55,
30wt oil,
Flipped bladders,
2-B mounting.
Green Academy spring.
Bones Level.
0* anti squat
2-B camber link,

No washers.
-1.5 camber
Wide MLP

Orion 13x2 geared 23x83.
Orion 4200SHO 5 cell (ran full 6 cells, just wired up into 5 cell)
JConcepts medium wide wing.
Panther Switch 2.0 super softs on associated wheels, Proline 8175 M3 fronts on B4 wheels. Shot with motor spray, then buggy grip 2 for traction compound.

This setup has slightly less pack then my normal base setup, but still carries excellent corner speed corner ent to corner exit, it just carves through. Very stable and a brezze to drive. Car really seemed to float well through the rough portions and not get out of shape and squares up rather fast also.

Im thrilled in the way the car is coming. After only a month of time on it its probably one of, if not, the best cars I've drove.

Glen, how did you make 0' anti squat? mill the aluminum one? or plastic?

Basically I milled a little notch in the motor plate and rear block so i could put some .030 shims under it to get to around 0*.
