We have the chance to take a look up close at Ronald Voelker's BD10 he used to take the victory at the ETS event in Daun, Germany. You can also find his set-up sheet showing all the settings chosen for the carpet track.

The car he used was almost a kit-standard, carbon chassis, BD10. Here are the key option parts used in Germany:

  • Graphite Battery Holder (B9-118G)
  • Aluminium Spool Outdrives (B9-501CA)
  • Aluminium Diff Outdrives (B9-501GA)
These parts have been added for aesthetics (in the case of the battery holder), or for weight purposes. But they aren't essential parts at all and many of our team drivers used the standard parts with great results too!

Additionally, you can spot two other special parts on Ronald's car - Firstly, the battery weight system for shorty-style batteries is a first prototype design of this part.
Secondly, the front bodyshell rests on the C-Hubs are a hand-made part - we'll produce some more information on how you can make these yourself soon!
