- Team Yokomo BD10 droop measurements -

by Nicholas Lee

I would like to explain to you the ways to droop measurements on the BD10. There are a couple of different ways to do it, and there is no right and wrong with whichever ways to do.

Quite often, you will find different values on the setup sheet by different drivers. Normally, team drivers like Ronald Völker and Christopher Krapp will measure it at point "2" on the images below. However, not all droop or ride height gauges will work because of the smaller than usual values.

Personally for me, I will measure it at point "1" be it the standard rear or RTC arms using the Arrowmax RC #171049 fine ride height gauge. This will give me a consistent point between both arms. With that said, your car has to be flat and screws underneath the chassis is not sticking out.

3.2mm is the difference between point "1" and "2"on the standard rear arm. If the setup from the guys are using 2mm droop on standard rear arm, just add 3.2mm and you will have the values to adopt to their setup.

I hope this helps to clarify any doubts on the setup sheets posted by us
