BD10LC start setup

New car is dialed! I started with manual setup and didn’t change much. The new bits seem to make the car easier to drive quicker.

I would like to point out the few tuning option parts I prefer and would recommend you to have. With the new front shock tower being much lower and more angled, it made the front end softer and easier to drive. Changing to a harder front sway bar for me made it even better for better steering response. I also had harder rear sway bar as that is what I normally run for modified class.

I’ve tested quite a lot with shock combinations and really like the tapered pistons in the front. It’s smoother and gave more cornering speed with this tuning option.

New diff cams also gave me a good overall feeling and balance of the car. I have lesser drop offs which is always critical in the race.

Springs - I don’t really like the kit springs as I feel they are too soft. I’ve been sticking to the Yokomo progressive front of 2.5/2.8 and super progressive of 2.3/3.0 in the rear. It works well on most conditions, from Low grip to medium high grip. Every time I try with different ones but they just don’t work as good.
