For the EFRA Championship, I focused on building a car that was extremely stable and predictable while generating as much front-end traction as possible.

The combination of the EFRA-spec electronics and the track conditions required a setup with a strong focus on front traction and overall balance.

Setup Philosophy

Long Suspension Arms
I chose to run the longer suspension arms to give the car a calmer and more predictable handling characteristic. This helped increase stability without sacrificing the response needed for a competitive FWD car.

Weight Distribution
A major focus was moving as much weight as possible towards the front of the car. With the EFRA electronics, this was especially important to generate the required front traction and achieve the right balance between steering response and traction.
The additional front weight helped the car stay planted on corner entry and maintain traction when getting back on power.

Rear Chassis Stiffener
For the rear section, I used the new rear chassis stiffener. This added another level of stability to the car, particularly in medium- and high-speed corners. The car felt more controlled and consistent through the corner, allowing me to carry speed while maintaining a predictable rear end.

Overall Handling
The final setup gave me a very stable and consistent platform with strong front traction, while keeping enough rotation and steering response to be fast.
For me, the key was finding the right balance between front traction, cornering stability and consistency rather than simply chasing maximum steering.
This setup proved to work extremely well throughout the event and ultimately helped me secure the EFRA Championship title with the XRAY X4F'27.
