A short trip but nothing short of testing a lot for the future. Prior to the event, I prepared two cars, 1.5mm alloy and a pre-production steel chassis from XRAY. I ended up with the steel car as it was faster, and easier to drive because of the low CG.

The changes I made to get more rotation were:

  1. 2.7 instead of 2.8 springs in the rear
  2. 2.5 toe instead of 3
  3. 425 shock oil instead of 500
The steel chassis has been in the works for some time now and it is finally ready soon.

As for my power setup, it was more or less the same from my last visit. The only difference was a bigger pinnion to get a smoother bottom end for this twisty tight little hair pins.
