I started with what I ran most of the season which is our steel chassis along with short arms. This combination has given me the best feel on most US/Canadian CRC carpet track.

I few things were changed and improved the car stability over small bumps and to be able to drive the car harder through the middle section of the track.

  • Lowering the rear Hub improved Stability mid corner
  • Raising the rear upper arm inside and outside .5 (Lowering the roll center) also helped make the car most stable.
  • Going to a linear front spring made the car drive easier mid corner and helped with corner entry
  • Using 2 set screws in the rear top deck improved rear stability over bump.
