Alexander is using a steel 1.2mm chassis, paired with optional short lower arms in medium hardness, and with upper link arms which are mounted onto the optional -1mm upper clamps.
An optional front 1.2mm anti-roll bar was fitted to improve mid corner steering, and optional soft springs, 2.4-2.7 in front, and 2.5 in rear was chosen to smoothen out the car on this high grip surface.
Upstops are used in both front and rear to limit roll, and droop was set to a high number as well for the same reason.
The car features PSS shock inserts and pistons in both front and rear, and with 350 cSt shock oil.
Optional brass shorty battery mounts are used to perfectly balance the car for the shorty LiPo packs.

Notes:
My XRAY X4'26 was very competitive, and a joy to drive the whole weekend. I started with the base set-up of Keven Hebert, and fine tuned to my liking, which included:

  • More front camber gain, for more initial steering.
  • No rear anti-squat, to stabilize the car a bit off-power.
  • More laid down shocks, for a less direct feel, and with more side-bite.
As for my Hobbywing Technology & Team EAM, Inc electronics package - I've been trying to use less drag brake rate & drag brake as of late, to try and smoothen out the car especially in high speed sweepers, and to reduce pitching & reduce front tire overheating. The 5.5T motor, and packs not charged full helped to improve drivability, and reduce bottom end punch on this tight and twisty indoor carpet track!

Bodyshell of choice - LensBodies Ghibli 3.0 is the preferred choice for modified TC on CRC black carpet, from what I've seen so far. This means, it's outperforming both the Zenith and the Avalon (with ROAR/IFMAR approved wing).

Important! Side wall glue is required on the HUDY C3-28 tires. 60.5mm in the front, and 57.5mm in the rear, to reduce traction rolling.
