Those of you who have known me from before my break should be familiar with my 5P approach and the fact that I never stop testing in order to optimize my cars setup.

The 5P are back. Despite having only finished my X4 the Saturday before the ETS and therefore prep time being very limited, I used my reintroduction to the current state of ETS competition to the best possible effect.

During the race the conditions were changing a lot every run. Most of the runs I have experienced however, that the car started to feel slightly off after about 2mins in and my pace dropping. The more comfortable I got with racing again, the more I got the feeling that some oil on the car was getting too warm and soft throughout the run.

The shock setup in the setup sheet is the result of a lot of different combinations. Matrix tires combined with the slightly troublesome additive situation (check video below) seem to favor a linear shock setup with a harder oil that is less temperature and load sensitive.

In the end the car was way more capable than I was at my first outing again, mostly to lack of sleep and track time.

Definitely worth checking out at letting me know how it is working for you guys.

Now enjoy pictures of my XRAY X4 2025 looking lovely with all black Nosram power, the most amazing race paint by Apaint and last minute stickers by DF creative (Adam Dubak). God I love being back and overdoing it with building lovely cars
