Note the specific change for the flowing track layout: only 1mm bunpsteer.
The graphite lower arms seem to work well for me on any surface now.
Also 1.5mm toe in seems to be rather standard now.
The car created amazing grip as long as I didn't over drive it with too much steering or too much braking.
All in all it was probably the best car I ever had in recent years.

After all the intense preparation and an eventful weekend, I needed a short break before writing this race report. The efforts of the season were noticeable, and as a reward for the titles won, we treated ourselves to a few days of skiing. Now it's time to look back at the ETS - Euro Touring Series Finale in Wiener Neustadt.

The finale of the Euro Touring Series (ETS) in Wiener Neustadt was a worthy conclusion to a fantastic season. With 321 entries, the event was well attended, and the atmosphere in the huge arena was simply amazing, as the 1.MRC Wiener Neustadt around Sascha Klug did an amazing job again. Our XRAY team was present with over 70 drivers and made a strong presence felt.

In the Formula 1 class, I experienced a weekend of ups and downs. My speed was there, although my car was a bit difficult to drive at times, but luck was not on my side this time. Despite these setbacks, the final result was enough to secure the overall title in the Formula 1 class, which was my main goal for this weekend. A satisfying end to an outstanding F1 season, with hard fights with Andreas Stiebler! Congrats to Thomas Stenger for the win this weekend!

In the Touring Car 40+ class, my situation was completely different. Throughout the season, I had the pleasure of racing hard but fair against Eric Anderson, Michel Zierold, and René Kölbel for the championship. They pushed me to my limits in every race, and it was always a great challenge during the first 4 season races. This last race, I am happy that I did not leave them a chance! The title was already secured before the race, but those who know me understand that I don't just show up to participate. I wanted to win the final in Wiener Neustadt in style – and that’s exactly what I did. Everything went perfectly from qualifying to the finals: I was able to win all the qualifying rounds and drive away from the field in the finals. My car was simply a dream. The perfect balance, precise steering, of the X4'25 and outstanding performance of the LRP GmbH / Nosram Hyper LCG 4600 Lipos gave me the decisive advantage. Due to the low-profile design of the batteries, my car had better stability in the corners, and the increased cornering speed was clearly noticeable. It was an absolute joy to race.

A huge thank you goes to my whole team, my supporters, and of course, to the ETS organizers, who once again put together a world-class event. Big thanks to Xray and the entire Hudy family for providing the best support a driver could ask for, and also to Jürgen Lautenbach and Nosram for the outstanding batteries, which truly made the difference this time. Also, a very special thank you goes to my Formula 1 mechanic, Chris Grenz, who worked on my F1 car the whole season, and as we won the championship together he can now rightfully call himself a Champions-Mechanic. Without him, I would never have been able to compete for and win titles in both classes at the same time.

Wiener Neustadt was a worthy season finale – now it's time to look ahead to the next season!
