These are the spare parts that I recommend keeping for your XRAY X4’24 cars. The X4’24 is very durable, and I would suggest basically keeping the same parts that you would for your X4’23, but in their updated versions. There’s a lot of part numbers listed for the upper & lower arms, as well as the topdecks. That’s because the two kit versions come with different configurations.

Even though the CFF technology has proven to be very durable, the upper and lower arms are still subject to breakages in hard crashes. Keep in mind that L & R and FR & RR are all different, and that the edition of your kit determines the hardness of the lower arms (medium or hard). Or as for the upper arms, soft or medium.

The topdecks can break in hard front impact. Keep in mind that the front topdeck is different depending on the kit edition that you purchased (the aluminium kit comes with a wave style front topdeck).

The steering blocks (also known as hubs or uprights) can break, or strip out after extensive use and thus I recommend keeping spares.

The hub, diff and layshaft bearings may be replaced as part of your maintenance process. The lifetime depends on your track condition (dust), temperature and on how often they’ve been oiled (I recommend adding bearing oil for every race day and/or race weekend).

Look out for wear on the belts, when they start to look “hairy” or the teeth loose their definition, it’s time to change the belts. You’ll also note over time that you might need to add tension to the belts, which is another sign that it’s time to replace them.

The center pulley is subject to wear, especially if the car has been run in adverse conditions with dust or small stones, and especially if the drive belts haven’t been replaced often enough.

These parts should be replaced as a part of your maintenance process. The membranes last a long time thanks to their updated and more durable material. I would say that they require replacement at least monthly. The O-rings should be changed out 1-2 times per season ideally, especially important if you run in hot and dusty conditions.

301383 GRAPHITE BODY POST HOLDER - 1pc

Rear body post holder – the new graphite body post holder is beefy (4.0mm graphite) and difficult to break, but I still recommend keeping a spare, just like for the previous individual body post holders (which were also in graphite material).
