Race: 1:12 Nationals Mod and Stock.
Result: P1 in both classes!
Track and conditions: Marktoberdorf, non permanent used ETS carpet track with black Tape. Low grip and bumpy spots.
Mod:
as the car was to hard to drive with oversteer and loose rear on throttle I made following change:
- front toe out from 0.5 to 1deg
- steering angle from 26 to 24 deg
- add 1.5mm shim on the link (2mm) front
- use Hot Race T Foam Tires
- use soft rear side springs (silver instead of gold)
- Changed rear pod from 3.5 to 4mm angle
- sauced the rear very long and the front very short
- chage the front carbon Plate to -1
Stock:
As the base setup was quite good I changed only a few things to solve the problems of a loose rear and fading:
- Used Hot-Race Hagberg Edition Tires
- Geared down from 43 to 42
- timed down from 46 to 42deg
- widen the rear width to the maximum
- front toe out instead of 0.5 to 1deg
- reduced the steering angle from 24 to 22 deg
- Sauced the rear tires very long and front very short
