My X12'26 set-up was rather similar to my Snowbirds set-up, just with a few changes including a bit lower bump steer shim, 1.0mm side braces added, and upstop shims on the side links as per this tech tip (XRAY X12'25 tech tips, as used at the recent EFRA 1/12 European Championships).
My Hobbywing Technology motor & ESC's ran flawlessly as usual, with minimal changes needed from my usual black carpet set-ups. The power from my brand new Team EAM, Inc battery packs meant that I had to turn down my power a bit in TC as the bottom end felt very punchy and responsive, whereas in 1/12, superb runtime meant that I could push hard for the duration of the 8-minute run without fear of dumping the battery!
In TC, I prefer a 5.5T motor with a standard rotor for smaller carpet tracks. For 1/12, the Titanium rotor has been a game changer for me - with improved efficiency and feel over the standard rotor.
