Tech info from the RCRA EP OnRoad Australian Championships.
Running the X12’25 on asphalt was an entirely new experience for me. I started with a setup that was probably on the aggressive side, as I ended up taking steering away (less caster, camber, wider rear track, softer rear spring). Even though the car was fast right off the bat, the changes that I just mentioned definitely improved the drivability, especially towards the end of the run when the tires were smaller and thus, the car was loosing traction. Tire wear was very high! Up to 3.5mm in the rear. Saucing tires overnight is a must, and
I also recommend using a gurney flap (additional wing) on the bodyshell for asphalt racing. LensBodies Ponente UL was my body of choice. Furthermore, a rear ball differential is the best choice to generate the most grip. Hotrace Tyres Factory foam provided exceptional grip as always.
