Jacob’s start in RC is a very unique one that started when he was in the hospital. Suffering from food allergies, Jacob’s dad, who is also into RC, bought him a Traxxas off-roader from the hobbyshop next door to the hospital. Turning a negative into a positive and after running his new RC at the hospital, Jacob next went to try the beginner track at the famous OCRC Raceway in Huntington Beach, California and the racing bug to bite him. Now specializing in the Modified Touring class, Jacob is a rising star in the RC racing world and at only 10 years old, he has many years of racing ahead of him.
