XRAY’s Alexander Hagberg is at the race driving his XRAY T4 17. He uses an ORCA R32 speed control and it is programmed with “a lot of boost and turbo for this size of a track.” For motor, he uses an ORCA RT 4.5T with some added manual timing along with a “softer” rotor with mellower magnets compared to the stock rotor to generate a bit more rpm along with making the bottom end smoother. For battery, he uses the ORCA LCG LiPo battery that is lighter and has a lower the center-of-gravity. To offset this, he adds weight to the centerline, or depending on what his car is doing, he adds weight to the front or rear. His drivetrain is equipped with a spool up front and gear diff in the back filled with 10K oil. The rear of the car is also equipped with ACS (Active Rear Suspension) and Alex commented that he usually uses it on asphalt tracks these days. He commented that it adds a lot more weight to the rear axle and makes the car more stable on power exiting the corner. The chassis is stock and comes in at 2.25mm. For his shock package, he uses progressive springs with progressive shock inserts. The progressive shock inserts (PSS) work in unison with solid pistons for a slightly different feel.
