Inspired by Felix Law’s AT1 shorty adventures, we decided to try this for ourselves in local conditions. Without holes for the rear Lipo retainers, we had to use good old fashioned battery tape. We took it to Whalan with the old Surpass 13.5T to see what it can do.

Vinny was having a decent day with it and was on pace with most others as he got used to 13.5 again. Jeff was dominating the day with his R12 in 13.5. So in A3, Vinny handed him the controls to see what the AT1 had. And it did not disappoint - fastest time of the day and hot lap! Not bad for its first day and there’s plenty more to come with more track time.

Edit: 7k diff would be better for 13.5T. Vinny was a bit slack…
