TRF 417 base model with gear diff. (#42200) Having some difficulty understanding the spirngs used on a lot of the setup sheets. I'm new to carpet. I'm running blinky 17.5 with 42/111 gearing (145 deg F/6min run), spec rubber on what seems to be high grip carpet. I'm set up from the build book wth oil, grease, sway bars, etc from the kit. 5mm ride height (club rules). Mazda6 body. I'm traction rolling all over the place requiring me to go much slower in the corners than everyone else in the class. I have ordered next size stiffer sway bars for each end and the Tamiya colored spring set to increase spring strength front and rear. Any other suggestions or links to setup sheets for similar conditions. Thanks in advance.

I have battled similar issues. For me going harder on springs, swaybars made things way worse, to my surprise as well. What totally transformed my car on carpet were the yokomo springs. Use yokomo pink upfront and the blue in rear.

Also make sure your arms etc are not binding.

You could also glue the sidewalls of your tires if you are desperate, use some super glue.

Widening the car will also help, Use D, D upfront and maybe a XB block in the frontrear.
