Last Swedish Cup final was held at the brand new Eskilstuna raceway. This track is one of the biggest in the world with over 500m long and crazy long straight.

In Friday practice I tested different setup and shock settings on my eryx. The car worked good from the start, just some minor changes.

In qualifying myself and Nilsson with his Serpent was battling for the TQ. In the first round it just started to rain and we had to use rain tires. Nilsson was fastest in the rain and TQ’d first round. My setup was a bit to aggressive for the rain and I could not keep up.

In round 2 and 3 I could easily TQ both rounds in front of Nilsson. Nilsson also had the speed but not as consistent.
In the finals was very similar to the qualifying. It was up to Me and Nilsson to battle for the win with our Serpent cars. Nilsson could keep the pressure for some laps but in the end my car was so good and more consistent that I could win the first two finals with 5sec gap to Nilsson.

In the last final it started to rain again and I stayed out to let the rest battle it out in the rain. Unfortunately Nilsson made some small mistakes that led Alexander Andersson win the last final to get 2nd place.

All in all the Serpent 3.0 showed great performance!

Best regards,
Viktor
