Serpent TQ´s on the 2nd round of the Portuguese National Championship! On the 27th of May, the 2nd round took place at AAC track in Coimbra.27 drivers attended in the modified class for one more enthusiastic day race!Hugo Miguel driving a Serpent 411 Top Qualified and set a new record of 15 laps in 5:01.353s.

For the finals the race was promising to be a tight fight between Hugo Miguel/Serpent, Bruno Coelho/Yokomo and Joao Martinho/Yokomo.The first final was easily won by Hugo Miguel, leading from start to finish setting a new lap record in 19,324s and the only one to manage to break through the 16 lap barrier.The second and third finals were thrilling to drive with a few overtaking between the fastest drivers. Hugo´s car suffered some knocking by a thrusty driver sending the car to the dusty part of the track, consequently becoming impossible to recover to first place as the tires lost grip.In the end of the game the winner was Joao Martinho, followed by Hugo Miguel and Bruno Coelho wrapped 3rd place.It was great day race, cheared with skillfull drivers and awesome action!Nothing is decided yet, as these 3 drivers are tied in points after this round!Congratulations to the organization, to the drivers, a special thank to my sponsor RRF Modelismo (Serpent Portugal) and Jorge Simoes for the hospitality.
