Randy Caster original setup which is
fairly easy to drive, should be able to get around the track well
for anyone. His Reedy setup is more aggressive and will be a bit
harder to drive, but is capable of some fast laps.
Notes:
5 cell chassis used, receiver
mounted in front of batteries.
Upper deck was cut to allow more flex. (see pictures)
Used 2 gears in rear diff.
TRF shocks with stock Tamiya bladders with nothing above.
Tamiya pistons used.
AE lower spring retainers, and shock ends with 2mm cut.
.5mm anti-squat.
Front pivots raised .5mm + .5mm anti-dive.
Steering limited 1mm on knuckle.
Reedy Updates:
-2° caster blocks.
600wt front oil, 550wt rear oil
Body position 34mm
Ackerman still in back row but outside holes
-3° rear toe block
Front swaybar mounted inner hole on arm
Front arms forward
Rear arms centered
5mm ride height
Droop 34.7mm
Full throw on steering
Camber 1.5° front, 1° rear
Handout tire was a Sorex 36R premount on Speedmind wheel "SpeedRex
36"
