The Alloy chassis is now available for the latest spec Schumacher R/C Racing MI8. Elliott Harper posted his starting set up recently and I thought I’d post what I’ve come to use over the last couple of weeks on my last season spec car (little different to the HGT of current but will transfer over) hopefully this can be of help for some people.

Also for the Team Powers UK LTD V5 motor users. We are still running around 48 timing on the cans, then indoors at smaller tracks like Woodson and Southend I have been running 4.4-4.5 with gearing and I’d recommend around 4.1 to start with at EWS. As an option I’d definitely recommend the V4 optional rotor, this widens the gearing window, I’d recommend a 1-2 tooth bigger pinion with this rotor fitted.

Battery wise I’d recommend the 6000 cells from Optipower OptiGlobal, this pack has great power and holds its voltage well, all the while being a perfect weight for indoors.
