The performance potential of the belt-driven 4WD touring machine TF-5 Stallion is turbo-boosted with the new SHIN version. Japan’s famous touring car driver Shinnosuke Adachi has applied all his skill and knowledge in adapting the latest racing technology to this special version of the TF-5. Strengthened for even higher performance under equalized race conditions, each relevant section has been optimized relative to accepted controlled tires for improved grip from the chassis. Revised shape and thickness of chassis, upper deck and shock stays effectively reap the benefits of the improved flex characteristics. In addition, the 1.5mm shortened rear lower suspension arm results in a modified stroke for improved grip. This doesn’t just result in higher rigidity, but also realizes improved traction. Also, the optimal position of the battery and servos delivers a higher concentration of mass. While maintaining the same akerman ratio, a revised control angle delivers an improved linear steering feel. Of course the wide scope for optional settings allows the full potential of the chassis to be reached on many circuit layouts.
