EP8 Electronics Setup

Attached is the setup sheet for my Hobbywing Technology Xerun XR8 Pro G3 ESC that I ran in my Ebuggy to win the NSW State Title. I ran the Xerun 4268 G3 1900 KV motor, which was smooth and a good amount of power for our Australian dirt tracks. You could change the amount of turbo depending on how long the straights are to find the balance between top speed and drivability, most other settings should work well for a variety of tracks but if you have any questions please ask.

To power the Ebuggy I tested both the Team EAM, Inc 6000mAh shorty (EAM60150-2) and also the 7700mAh mid-shorty (EAM77130-2). The 6000mAh pack is lighter by 50 grams so is nimble, allows for weight bias tuning within the RC8B4.1e battery tray and provides enough power for 7 minute qualifiers and even 10 minute main finals on most of our tracks! The 7700mAh pack is a powerhouse and made it through 10 minute finals with 0 fade and would be a good option for high grip tracks that require a lot of power. Both are great options depending on your needs!
